About Per Scholas
Per Scholas is a national nonprofit that drives positive and proven social change in communities across the country. Through rigorous and tuition-free technology training and professional development, they prepare motivated and curious adults who are unemployed or underemployed for successful careers as technology professionals, and they create onramps to businesses in need of their talents. Today they provide solutions in twelve cities across the country: Atlanta, GA; Baltimore, MD; Greater Boston, MA; Greater Cincinnati, OH; Columbus, OH; Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; Detroit, MI; the National Capital Region; Newark, NJ, New York, NY and Philadelphia, PA. To date, Per Scholas has trained more than 10,000 individuals, helping them build lasting, life-changing skills and careers in technology.

Per Scholas partners with over 500 businesses across the United States to offer diverse and qualified talent solutions for a wide range of technology careers. Employer partners report that Per Scholas graduates have higher retention rates, are better problem solvers and increase the diversity of their teams.
Two third-party evaluations of Per Scholas have concluded that graduates earn significantly more, 50% less likely to rely on public assistance and 50% more likely to report life satisfaction than individuals who did not participate in the training.
